Royal Life Saving Australia required a reliable apparel and merchandise program that could support staff, instructors, volunteers and aquatic facilities across multiple organisations while maintaining the high standards expected of a nationally recognised water safety organisation.
The existing model relied on large offshore production runs, lengthy international lead times and forecasting demand months in advance. This required Royal Life Saving and Life Saving Victoria to purchase significant volumes of branded stock, hold inventory themselves and manage warehousing and order fulfilment internally. The model tied up capital, limited flexibility and made it difficult to respond to changing demand.
As demand grew across multiple Life Saving organisations, it became clear that a more agile and scalable solution was needed.
